The Bangladesh Energy, Climate & Finance Forum (BECFF) marked an important milestone in its journey on 8 August 2026 through its first official offline initiative at I4N × Innoventure Bangladesh 2026, organized by the Bangladesh Youth Nuclear Congress (BYNC) at American International University–Bangladesh (AIUB), Dhaka.
Representing BECFF, Makhzumul Islam Mahdi, Founder & Executive Director, and Md. Faijul Haque, team member, presented research poster titled:
“Affordable Hybrid Energy Solutions for the Least Developed Countries: The Example of Bangladesh.”
The participation marked BECFF's transition from an emerging platform for knowledge, dialogue, and sustainability toward active engagement with Bangladesh's scientific and research community.

Participation in the event provided an opportunity to present BECFF-affiliated research in an academic environment alongside students, young researchers, and innovators from BUET, University of Dhaka, AIUB, and other universities. For BECFF, the event represented more than a research presentation. It was the organization's first official offline initiative, providing valuable exposure to scientific discussion, research communication, and youth-led innovation. It also marked an important step toward BECFF's broader objective of encouraging research, dialogue, scientific engagement, and evidence-based discussion around Bangladesh's energy, climate, finance, and sustainable development challenges.
